Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) is the second most commonly cultivated edible mushroom globally and a staple in Asian cuisine. Beyond its rich, umami flavor, it’s highly valued for its medicinal properties.

Benefits:

Immune Support: Contains a polysaccharide called lentinan, which has been shown to support and modulate the immune system .
