⚠️ Critical Practical Implications:

  1. ORAC is a Lab Measurement: An extremely high ORAC value does not mean the oil should be used undiluted or ingested. Oils like Clove and Cinnamon Bark are potent dermal irritants and mucous membrane sensitizers.
  2. Dilution is Non-Negotiable: Always dilute essential oils in a suitable carrier oil (e.g., jojoba, almond, coconut) before topical application. A typical safe dilution is 1-2% for adults (approx. 1-2 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil).
  3. Not for Ingestion: Do not ingest essential oils based on their ORAC value. Ingestion should only be done under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
